Side by Side: Jesuit Saints as Lenten Companions

Each Lenten season, Loyola community members have been invited to share together in the spirit of the season in a series of reflective lectures, concerts and masses during Lent. The Lenten lectures will be held on Wednesday nights in February and March to observe the season of Lent. Each event is free and will take place at Loyola.

 Wednesday, February 25, 7 PM Saint Ignatius: The Inspiration and the Mystic Father Ted Dziak, S.J., Vice President for Mission and Ministry and Director of the Jesuit Center

• Wednesday, March 4, 7 PM  Saint Peter Favre: Newest Saint and Co-Founder Father Robert Gerlich, S.J., Associate Professor, Department of History 

• Wednesday, March 11, 7 PM  Saint Francis Xavier: Missionary and Saint Video and Discussion Director Father Jeremy Zipple, S.J., America Magazine; Note: The screening will be held in Nunemaker Hall, 2nd floor of Monroe Hall

• Wednesday, March 18, 7 PM  Ignatian Spirituality and the Practice of Law W. Penn Dawson, S.J., Visiting Professor of Law; Note: This lecture will be be held at the College of Law, Room 401 on the Broadway Campus
