The Office of Government & Legal Affairs of Loyola University New Orleans is committed to service, knowledge of law, and facilitating the educational mission of Loyola University. It is our function to provide, manage, and coordinate all legal services for the University and to be proactive and preventive as we seek to minimize legal risks and costs in the most efficient, reliable and professional manner possible.

The Office of Government & Legal Affairs provides legal services and legal advice to Loyola University New Orleans Board, administrators, faculty and staff acting within the course and scope of their employment. The Office also manages litigation, other legal proceedings involving the University and its employees and provides advice on legal matters. The Office cannot provide legal services or advice to employees or students in their personal or individual capacities.
