Last August I spoke about the Jesuit practice of the Examen in my convocation remarks. The Examen is a practice in which people are invited to review what has gone on in one’s daily life and plan what one will do in the near future.
As I reviewed the material for my talk today, I thought about a Jesuit practice that could be helpful in organizing it. The practice is called “The Examen.”
Loyola’s story today is in medias res. We are in the midst of implementing Loyola 2012 and that implementation is being carried out in every area of the University, in the work of any number of committees and groups.
