Happy High Holidays to our Jewish Friends. L'Shanah tova

L'Shana Tova.  Tonight  at sundown marks the beginning of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year and the beginning of the High Holy Days.  This evening starts a period of prayer and contemplation for members of our Jewish community as they look forward to the year ahead.

Rosh Hashanah commemorates the creation of the world and marks the beginning of the Days of Awe, a 10-day period of introspection and repentance that culminates in the Yom Kippur holiday, also known as the Day of Atonement. (Wednesday, September 19)

To all of our Jewish friends and community members, Shanah Tovah Umetukah (A good and sweet year.)

Happy Holidays.
