LENTEN MORNING OF REFLECTION on SATURDAY, MARCH 3, 2018

Greg Waldrop, S.J.

Father Gregory Waldrop, S.J., will present "So let me ask you…:Four Questions from Jesus During Lent”

  • 8:30-9:00 a.m. : REGISTRATION
  • 9:00-11:30 a.m.: PRESENTATIONS † QUIET PRAYER † SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION
  • 11:30 a.m. : MASS

With the invitation to metanoia, or spiritual conversion, at its heart, Lent is the season for action: fasting, almsgiving, and, of course, prayer. And what is prayer, if not a profound dialogue—an honest, open back-and-forth—between the prayer and the God who loved us into existence, who knows us and searches our inmost be-ing? (Ps 139) Based on questions posed by Jesus himself in the Gospel of John, this day of reflection, prayer, and straight (inner) talk aims ultimately to facilitate a true Lenten dynamic of self-awareness and renewal in preparation for the Great Feast of Easter.
