Mark Mossa S.J.Over 100 people came together in Ignatius Chapel to hear Fr. Mark Mossa, SJ of Spring Hill College, kick off the first of the 2017 Lenten Series  A Jesuit priest will speak every Wednesday night in Lent at 7:00pm in the Ignatius Chapel, Bobet Hall!

The Lenten Series 2017 theme is "Ignatian Spirituality:  The Virtues of the Spiritual Exercises."    The talks will center on the Ignatian virtues that are listed in the chapters of Jerry Fagin's book ('Putting on the Heart of Christ').  For more information on Lenten Series 2017 >>> click HERE


The four talks will be held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm in Ignatius Chapel/ Bobet Hall.  The Speakers and the Topics are listed below: 

+ Wednesday: March 15:   “Gratitude”  by  Father Fred Kammer, S.J.  Executive Director and Senior Fellow, Jesuit Social Research Institute at Loyola University New Orleans

+ Wednesday: March 22:    “Hope”  by Father Gregory Waldrop, S.J.,  Assistant Professor of Art History and Chair, Department of Art at Loyola University New Orleans

+ Wednesday: March 29:    “Love”  by Father Billy Huete, S.J. , Rector, Loyola Jesuit Community and Teacher of Theology at Jesuit High School, New Orleans
