Looking Toward the Future

Dear Loyola community,

The 2016 presidential election has brought a new day, and now we are all looking toward the future. Whether your candidate won or lost, you are considering the potential impact, change, and meaning of this election on our country.

It is times like this when we are reminded of the magis – the more. We are called upon to recognize our collective strengths and values and consider ways in which we can work and live better together.  We are called on to consider ways in which to help and serve others — and to ensure that all voices, and not just our own, are heard.

This is a time for all of us to reflect, look within, and then come together for the greater good.

Our collective participation is needed to build a strong and viable future.  I encourage us all to continue the conversation. Your voice is important. And we all must listen.

With prayers and best wishes,

Kevin Wm. Wildes, S.J., Ph.D.
